Understanding Your Podiatry Costs.

Transparent, industry-standard pricing for advanced clinical care. Learn how our fee structure works, what influences treatment costs, and how to maximize your rebates.

Important appointment & fee information.

To ensure that you are fully informed before attending your appointment, please take a moment to read the following important information.

Consultation Fees

Any appointment with our podiatrist incurs a standard consultation fee for the dedicated clinical time reserved for your care. Advanced therapies—including K Laser and Swift therapy—are charged separately. Your clinician will always discuss recommended treatments and costs with you before proceeding.

Arrival & Late Policies

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time to complete paperwork and prepare. Late arrivals without prior notice may not be seen if a safe, thorough assessment cannot be completed. Unconfirmed slots may be released to waiting patients.

Late Cancellations

We reserve dedicated clinical time specifically for your recovery. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a late cancellation fee equal to 50% of your scheduled consultation rate. This ensures fairness to patients waiting for care.

What determines the total cost of care?

Consultation Type

Initial appointments require a longer, comprehensive session to fully map your medical history, perform biomechanical testing, and structure a custom management plan. Subsequent review sessions require less administration and time, meaning they are billed at a lower rate. Complex musculoskeletal pain and injury cases naturally require more advanced clinical testing than routine nail and skin care.

Number of Visits Required

Your condition dictating your timeline. A precise footwear assessment to accommodate a foot deformity may take only one or two visits. Conversely, rehabilitating chronic heel pain, a severe ankle sprain, or ongoing routine skin/nail maintenance usually involves a multi-month plan with treatments spaced every 6 to 12 weeks. Your podiatrist will provide a clear management plan at your initial visit.

Advanced Products & Specialised Treatments

When advanced clinical pathways are recommended—such as K-Laster therapy, Shockwave therapy, Swift therapy, ingrown toenail surgery, or full custom foot orthotics—these specialised services are charged in addition to the base consultation fee. We also supply medical-grade recovery products directly in the clinic, including moon boots and supportive ankle braces.

What rebate options are available?

Anyone can book an appointment with our podiatrist and attend as a private patient. You do not need a referral to make an appointment. However, there may be several ways to reduce your out of pocket costs.

Private Health Insurance

If podiatry is included in your private health extras, we can process your claim on the spot at the time of your appointment. Depending on your specific provider and coverage tier, you will only need to pay the remaining gap fee once the rebate is subtracted. Tip: Contact your health fund before your visit to check your exact annual limits.

Medicare Care Plans (GP Referrals)

Speak with your General Practitioner to see if you qualify for a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP). If eligible, you can access up to 5 partially rebated consultations per calendar year.

Current Medicare Rebate: $63.40 per consultation.

How it works: You pay our standard consultation fee in full, and the $63.40 rebate is processed directly into your registered bank account within 24 to 48 hours.
